Day 29 - Slide Rock

The 19th century orchards still stand at the farm at Slide Rock.

Frank L.Pendley founded this farm in 1907. He was a genius inventor and engineer, coming up with such things as this 1927 solar-powered sonic cannon that was capable of knocking out incoming Soviet ICBMs with a hypersonic pulse.

The study of the Vortexes has revealed certain areas where tourists arrive, and then stand catatonically for about 10 minutes before coming to, with no idea how or why they got here.
